This package offers you a glimpse of Bhutan, showcasing important places in Thimphu and Paro over four enriching days. Your tour begins with a pick-up from Paro and transfer to Thimphu, the capital city, where you'll explore major landmarks and savor local cuisine at a leisurely pace. Next, transfer to Paro to prepare for a hike up to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery. Afterward, you have the option to enjoy a local herbal hot stone bath and experience a farm stay at an ancestral place rich with history and stories of ancient Bhutan. Throughout the journey, immerse yourself in the local culture, enjoy serene landscapes, and savor traditional Bhutanese cuisine. This tour offers a perfect introduction to the Land of the Thunder Dragon, leaving you with unforgettable memories of its natural beauty and cultural treasures.

Day 1: Arrival in Paro and Transfer to Thimphu

  • Arrive at Paro International Airport.
  • Receive traditional Bhutanese welcome and transfer to Thimphu (1.5-hour drive).
  • Check-in at the hotel and freshen up.
  • Visit Memorial Chorten: Built in memory of the third King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
  • Explore Tashichho Dzong: The main secretariat building housing the throne room of the King.
  • Stroll around Thimphu’s streets, visit local handicraft shops, and enjoy a traditional Bhutanese dinner.

Overnight: Thimphu

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing

  • Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue: A gigantic statue overlooking the Thimphu Valley.
  • Tour the National Library and Archives: Home to ancient manuscripts.
  • Visit Folk Heritage Museum: Insight into Bhutanese rural life.
  • Explore the National Institute for Zorig Chusum: Known as the Painting School.
  • Visit Changangkha Lhakhang: An ancient fortress-like temple.
  • Evening drive back to Paro

Overnight: Paro

Day 3: Paro - Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)

  • Early morning hike to Taktsang Monastery: Perched on the side of a cliff, it is one of Bhutan’s most famous landmarks. The hike takes about 4-5 hours round trip.
  • Descend and have lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Free time for some last-minute shopping or exploration in Paro.

Day 4: Departure
